Thanks to the exhibition of treasured culture, fine arts heritages, Vietnam Fine Arts Museum has been fully playing the function of introducing Vietnam’s fine arts history to the public of the country and the world. Via this activity, the Museum has made its important contribution to the cultural exchange, international cooperation with other countries to bring about an active, comprehensive image of Vietnamese people and nation. From its foundation up to now, the Museum has always put the stress on the international cooperation activities.

As a national museum, Vietnam Fine Arts Museum has excellently realized its social, political task. It has received many high ranking delegations of different countries, organizations at 66 Nguyen Thai Hoc. Besides, the Museum has sent many traveling thematic exhibitions to other nations to introduce to international friends the typical culture, heroic history of Vietnam. At the same time, it has linked local people with painting, photograph, sculpture collections of international artists. The Museum has created chances for local art lovers to enjoy and learn about different fine arts school and tendencies of the world.
